Yall, 80 degrees in Charleston in February? Is that really happening tomorrow? Our closets don’t know what to do! I do know I am loving the warmer weather, but I can do without the humidity that comes along with it. I so wish we could get rid of some of this humidity we have in the South. Talk about bad for your hair.
I found this off the shoulder sweater at Maris | Dehart here in Charleston. They’ve still got a few and you can shop it here or in store. If you haven’t visited them yet, add it to your list. They are the most adorable boutique, from the location to the jewelry. I like it because no matter your budget or the price point you may generally shop for, you can find such a range in Maris. It really has something for everyone. This sweater is lightweight but still thick enough to keep you warm. The sleeves are bubble sleeves and totally adorable. It can be worn off both shoulders, one shoulder or not as an off the shoulder at all. It’s worn perfect with a pair of jeans or can be tucked into a skirt.
I don’t know about y’all, but this week has been one for the birds. I have been going all week with little sleep. Seeing the weekend approaching is the light at the end of the tunnel. I did get a nice little delivery at work today of a dozen red roses. Valentine’s Day has never been one of those exciting events for me. The chocolates and teddy bears and flowers – it can just be so overdone. I am headed to try out a new bar and restaurant tonight and I’m pretty stoked. I like to consider myself a “rookie foodie”, mainly because well, food and wine. I’m a frequent visitor of Eater Charleston and try to stay in the know on new places in the area. I love to be one of the first to try out a new place. Be sure to follow me on Instagram if you aren’t already. I’ll be sharing a bit of my fun filled night on my story.
